Cherry Trees Concert

A Charity Concert in aid of Cherry Trees

On Friday 5th September, Cherry Trees are holding a charity concert at St Thomas of Canterbury Church in East Clandon, raising money and awareness for their very worthy cause.

Refreshments will be served in the village hall across the road during the interval and a pre-concert supper can be reserved with us, right next door to the church.

We have a fabulous set menu available offering 1, 2 or 3 courses. You can view our special concert menu here:

Tickets are just £20 and can be purchased by phoning 01483 222507 between 8am and 3pm Monday – Friday.

Cherry Trees provides home from home respite care for children and young people with severe learning and physical disabilities. They recognise that these children are best looked after at home but, because of their very special needs, they require very special care, often 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It’s not surprising then that from time to time both they and their families need a break. Cherry Trees is that special place, providing professional care in a safe and loving environment, where every child is valued for who they are.

It is a community that values them and enables them to spend time with friends whilst their families have a much-needed break.

Set in the peaceful village of East Clandon, just round the corner from us, Cherry Trees provides a high quality service within a relaxed and caring setting.

Founded in 1980 by a group of parents and doctors, Cherry Trees has become a lifeline for the families of more than 100 children and young people who are regularly cared for there – for a few hours, a weekend or even a couple of weeks.
