Clandon Park
Just a short stroll from our doorstep, Clandon Park offers a splendid walk through its picturesque grounds. Your dog will love the open spaces, and you’ll appreciate the historic beauty of the park. Wander through the formal gardens, woodlands, and meadows, and enjoy the serenity of this National Trust property. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely walk that combines natural beauty with a touch of history.
Newlands Corner
A little further afield, but still less than five miles from our pub, is the stunning Newlands Corner. This popular spot boasts panoramic views over the Surrey Hills and has a variety of trails suitable for all abilities. One of the highlights is the circular walk that takes you through ancient woodlands and open heathland, providing plenty of opportunities for your dog to explore. The views from the top are simply breathtaking, making it a favourite among walkers.

Hatchlands Park
Another National Trust gem, Hatchlands Park, is a great destination for a leisurely walk with your dog. The park features over 400 acres of parkland, woodland, and meadows, providing plenty of space for your dog to roam. The Bluebell Wood is particularly enchanting in the spring, offering a carpet of bluebells that’s really beautiful. With its variety of landscapes, Hatchlands Park is perfect for both a short stroll and a longer hike.
